Included in these are Pond Design and Construction, Pondliners, Trophy Fish Management, Aquatic Weed Control, Fountains and Aeration Systems, Erosion Control, Habitat Restoration, Reforestation and Planting, and Terrestrial Vegetation Control and Removal.

Coastal Plain Land and Lakes is based out of Tallahassee, Florida and services all of north Florida, Alabama, and Georgia.
Beyond growing up in a small town in southeast Alabama and having a working knowledge of land, the owner, Shaun Dorethy, has a degree in Aquatic Resources Management from Auburn University, and a degree in Forestry Technology and Management. He worked for the Auburn University Fisheries Unit for 3 years - learning the fundamentals of fish management and production, and water quality from one of the leading fisheries programs in the world. From there, he furthered his knowledge of pond management by working as a fisheries biologist for Southeastern Pond Management in Auburn, Alabama for two and a half years. He then moved to Tallahassee, Florida to be the land acquisitionist for a Florida based large acreage rural developer. In January of 2008, he formed the company, what is now Coastal Plain Land and Lakes, to pursue his passion of maintaining and enhancing the beauty of the South.
