Unfortunately, the impact of man has always been, and will always be, a continuous foe of our natural areas. Even though much of it is due to civilization, and the spread thereof, most of it is NOT done with ill or malicious intent. But either way, these impacts are erasing a lot of our natural areas; along with the animal species that inhabit them. Thanks to governmental regulatory agencies, a lot is being done to help preserve these areas. Coastal Plain Land and Lakes is proud to be a working component in these efforts. We provide the services to remove non-indigenous (non-native) species by mechanical and chemical methods. Another service that we perform is the re-planting of our natural areas with native species. In the case of the sedimentation of a wetland, we will clean them out. Normally, machines aren't allowed in these areas, so we'll actually remove all of the sediment by hand (that's shovels and wheelbarrows).
