VEGETATION REMOVAL & CONTROL

Vegetation Removal and Control North FloridaVegetation Removal and Control is a generalized term that we use to describe the removal and control of unwanted vegetation. For Removal, Coastal Plain Land and Lakes uses mechanical means such as: timber mulching/grinding, bush-hogging, and/or hand-removal. After assessing the property, determining the landowner's objectives, and potentially learning particular laws and restrictions, we will apply the best method to your property.

Control of undesired vegetation can really be achieved in two ways. One, a landowner can control unwanted growth by using herbicides (which can be read more in depth in, Terrestrial Herbicide Applications), and two, by implementing the mechanical methods mentioned above. Essentially, mechanical control is the same as mowing your lawn multiple times per year; only on a larger scale. In most cases, we prefer to clean a property up first, and then use herbicides to control new growth from coppice sprouts and volunteers from the existing seed bed. In every case, the determining factors are the landowner and the law.

There's a saying that we use, that's steadily becoming one of our mottos. It says, “We don't cut corners, we clean 'em out.” So if you desire your land to be improved with the highest attention to detail, please email us, or give us a call at (850) 745-8451.
