WATER CLARIFICATION

Turbidity is a term used when referencing the amount of suspended particles in the water column in a body of water. These suspended particulates are what give a pond or lake a murky, or muddy appearance. It is very likely that a newly dug pond will be like this. But, there are some existent ponds that exchange their water with groundwater that get like this, as well; this usually happens after a heavy rain event. Either way, it can take from days to months to settle out and become clear again.

Through the process of applying Aluminum Sulphate (Alum), we can clear your pond and get it back to the look and clarity that you desire. Normally, we can achieve clarity to depths of 1 foot to a few feet in just a day.
